Mount Agung erupted in 1963. a violent and destructive eruption, destroying almost three quarters of Amlapura town in East Bali. It is the highest Mountain (approx. 3142 meters above see level) It is the most sacred mountain in Bali, before climbing to the top we pray at Besakih or Pasar Agung temple. Climbing starts from Besakih area and Pasar Agung temple area.It is challenging walk, with beautiful scenery. It takes (Bass to Summit) approx.9 hrs. Climbing from Besakih temple starts at 23.30 pm and from Pasar Agung temple at 01.30 am, from the peak of Agung while watching the spectacular sunrise we can see to the West, Mt. Abang and Mt.Batur and to the East (In clear weather) Mt. Rinjani in Lombok. All our guides are well trained and English speaking.

Our trip are by private transportation for just you, family and friends, and are usually limited to no more than 5 participants.
Can you change the itinerary by accidenly?
We are very flexible, and welcome the opportunity to work with you to make any changes to our standard itinerary. Please note, however that the standard itinerary is already a very full day. (Pickup from your hotel at nine in the morning, and will usually finish the day around six in the afternoon. We can also customize tours. Examples can include shopping expeditions or maybe a nice walk through a rice field!
